Pine Tar has long been used by people with sensitive skin, in particular to sooth psoriasis and eczema symptoms. It is thought to have antifungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties and reduces keratinisation (flaky skin). Combined with benefits of tallow for sensitive skin, this soap is the best option for problem skin that hasn't resolved with fragrace/colourant free options or normal tallow soap.
 
This soap has a strong, earthy, natural campfire scent from the pine tar that may not suit everyone. However I have found that people will overlook this to find a product that works well with their skin. Some people even quite like it!
